Be Health Conscious presents the first annual 'Blaze the Trail' Community Fun Run/Walk 5k in support of Neighbor in Need Scottdale, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing free, emergency home repairs for low-income, aging residents in Scottdale, Georgia. They work to strengthen our community by supporting safe and comfortable aging in place. We invite you to our celebration of community spirit and support in the county as we run (walk or stroll) along the Stone Mountain Trail across District 4, starting in Clarkston to Scottdale to Avondale Estates and back again. Babies in strollers and dogs with leashes are welcome! The in person race will be held Saturday, October 15 at 9 am. Parking is available at Dekalb Elementary School of the Arts (3131 Old Rockbridge Rd, Avondale Estates, GA 30002). Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to check-in and pick up your bib. After crossing the finish line, we invite you to join us for a community meet & greet at the Be Health Conscious complex located at 610 Valley Brook Road in Scottdale where you can cool down with complimentary food and drinks. We will also have yard games and a mini-dash set up for the kids, and you can pick-up a free month class membership pass as our gift to you. Please note: Virtual Run/Walks can be completed anytime during the month of October and anywhere: the treadmill, at the park, or on the Stone Mountain Trail Path. Anywhere you choose! Simply register and invite your friends, choose a 3.1 mile route and upload your time into the time sheet link we send. Your event packet will be mailed to you. Event Race Registration Include: Officially Printed Event Race Bib Free month unlimited class pass to Be Health Conscious
